Do We Have Twin Flames?

In theory, the meaning of twin flame is that person who is your other half. It is said that when our Soul formed it was split into two halves and we spend each incarnation trying to find our other half.

What if the truth was that your twin flame is really you expressing yourself in another body. When you find this person they are the best match for evolving to a higher level. You are mirrors or reflections of each other.

The self improvement movement has done a disservice to many of us because it has left us feeling flawed rather than whole and complete. We have learned that we must change our flaws in order to be loved. We go one a journey that leads away from our trueselves no to our trueselves.

The truth is we came in to this life whole and complete with unique gifts to share and even our so called “flaws” serve a purpose! Instead of self improvement we should be taught the art of fierce self love and and radical self acceptance.  Unfortunately while we are focusing on self improvement those beautiful gifts that we are here to share sit on the back burner waiting for us to be perfect and we can’t create the life we desire.

The other reason to focus on self love and self acceptance is we can’t attract our twin flame if we don’t accept ourselves. That is why so many people in the new age movement who are longing for a twin flame reunion are still single. They think they need to “work” on themselves!! We need to be self aware. We need to be clear of where we begin and where we end so we don’t end up projecting on the other person and so that we stay out of codependency.

If you have a longing and a knowing that you have a twin flame then he or she is out there. We don’t incarnate with longing that would be fulfilled, they are part of what moves you forward in this evolution.

The only work we must do is love and accept ourselves, be self aware  so we navigate the world from authenticity. That is the magnet that will bring not only your twin flame to you but everything else you desire.

Life is meant to be fun!!

Jim Henson said “Life is meant to be fun, and joyous and fulfilling ”  Who would know better then a guy who hung around with puppets? I think Jim accomplished that goal!

When I was a kid I believe that life was about having fun and experiencing joy and it was! Nothing was serious, everything was a crazy adventure! Sometimes I didn’t follow the rules, just for the sake of having fun.

Somewhere along the way everything got SO serious.  The social program of of doing things right, going to school, following directions, growing up and being and adult got dropped on me, just like it did on you.

Being real and authentically you disappeared for living up to the status quo, looking good and being responsible. All of this blocks the flow of what we really want.

I say NO MORE!  We can live, joyously, have fun and be fulfilled doing anything. And do you know that if you allow yourself to live that way more and more things that create those feelings will show up!

If you could change something to add more fun and joy into your life, so you could start magnetizing those thins, what would you add? Let’s chat in the comments and see what we come up with. Your ideas will surely inspire other people!

I am determined to find that sense of joy, fun and play and fulfillment again! Who wants to find it with me? 🦄🎨😻🤡👑🦋

Who said we have to be Light and Love Robots to be spiritual and evolved?

The “new age movement ” leads us to believe that if we are conscious and spiritual we are always positive. There is a tendency that we should rise above our feelings and take them to a higher level. That feels like a spiritual bypass to me. Becoming conscious really means knowing who you truly are, being authentic and embracing everything you feel. I have gotten caught up in the idea that I shouldn’t share my so called negative feelings because it somehow means I am weak and not spiritual, when in fact expressing vulnerability is a show of strength and courage. When we are authentic we give those around us permission to do the same.

I have read almost every New Thought book out there, have studied with Abraham Hicks, watch the Secret and What the Bleep!  I know the steps to manifestation.  I understand using Affirmations and Afformations, thinking positive thoughts and all that gobbly gook.  Every new theory comes with a new set of rule.  There is the secret behind The Secret.  There are theories that start where the secret left off.  There are so many theories about how to manifest that it makes your head spin!!

daffydizzy (1)

I loved the idea of The Secret and Law of Attraction going mainstream, yet it comes with a certain level of shame attached.  If you aren’t manifesting what you desire, you must be doing something wrong, right?

I say NO!

Sometimes we don’t manifest what we desire because it isn’t the best thing for us at the time.

Sometime we don’t manifest what we desire because there is something better coming and if we got what we wanted it would be in the way.

There are all kinds of reasons and none of them are your fault!  You can’t do it wrong.  All of our paths lead where the need to go.

I believe the Law of Authenticity is the path to everything we need

and want and when we are authentic we are magnetic!

Being able to observe yourself from a neutral place, without judgment

Knowing who you truly are

Loving yourself unconditionally

Being an expression of your true self, not what society wants you to be.

Being Congruent. The word congruent describes someone who is the same on the outside as they are on the inside

Being present

Being Genuine

Being the Author of your own story

Staying true to yourself

Having compassion

Having the courage to acknowledge your limitations and embrace your vulnerabilities

and so much more…

When you align with your authentic self and live authentically you are also in alignment with all the good that is yours in this lifetime.  You are magnetic and nothing gets in the way of manifesting what you desire because what you desire is also what serves you evolution.

It is simple…when you are authentic…the Law of Attraction simply works!

Prosperity Consciousness: Create Your Day Part 7 of 12

Black woman waking up in bed

“What if, before you got out of bed and began your day, you took the time to ask yourself one simple question? “What is the greatest ideal of myself that I can be today?” If you were patient enough to wait for an answer, you would begin to think differently than if you just woke up and remembered yourself as the same person from the day before.”

Dr. Joe Dispenza.

Do you realize that our common thoughts create our day right from the moment we wake up in the morning?  Some times we bring things with us from our dream state that might not be pleasant and if we don’t look at them and shift them they will carry through our day.  Other times we are still thinking about something that happened the day before and that can be the thing that sets the tone for our day.  There is a constant dialog going on in your mind all day long.

We have a choice about what our day will look like.  From the mind-set of prosperity consciousness we can choose how our day unfolds by setting the tone before we get out of bed. We can essentially program that dialog that goes on all day.  There are two ways to do that.  One is actually deciding what you want your day to look like and the other, called segment intending, can change how your day is going during the day.

It can go something like this:

“When you rise in the morning, in that twilight time before you get out of bed, contemplate a statement that affirms the person you want to be. Here are some examples:

  • I am unconditionally loving and lovable…
  • I am prosperous beyond my needs and generous without limit…
  • I am intelligent and wise: all problems that come to me are solved quickly and easily…
  • I am a planetary healer: all that I turn my hand to brings perfect healing…
  • I am fully connected to all of life…
  • I am abundantly creative in every aspect of my life.

Let one of these affirmations, or one that you make up, be your first thought upon waking and your last thought of the day as you fall asleep. Speak it to yourself, feel it, dwell on its meaning, allow it to thrill and warm you. Then let Consciousness do its work all through the day. See how your affirmation will manifest as you go about your daily life.

In this way you co-create with the Universe who you want to be. And you spiritualize everything in your experience.” Dr. Joe Dispenze from “What the Bleep Do We Know?”

Isn’t it great to know that you can lay in bed and visualize how your day is going to go and have control of how it turns out?

Abraham-Hicks has another process that will help you set the tone of your day and also shift it throughout the day.  It is called Segment Intending.

“Segment Intending is the process whereby you define the vibrational characteristics of the time segment you are moving into. It is a way of pre-paving your vibrational path, so to speak, for easier and more enjoyable travel.

If you are in a bad mood, meaning that there is considerable resistance in your vibrational frequency, then, because you do not have access to very different thoughts from where you currently are, you usually project that same vibrational expectation into the segment that you are moving into. For that reason, we encourage the application of Segment Intending when you are already feeling good. If you are feeling bad in this moment, try one of the other processes in order to improve your current mood and point of attraction. And then once you are feeling better, you could return to this powerful Segment Intending process.

This process will help you be more deliberate about focusing your thoughts. It will help you become more aware of where your thoughts currently are, and it will help you be able to more deliberately choose the thoughts that you offer. In time, it will feel very natural to you to stop for a moment upon entering a new segment and direct your own intent or expectation.

You enter a new segment anytime your intentions change: If you are washing dishes and the telephone rings, you enter a new segment. When you get into your vehicle, you enter a new segment. When another person walks into the room, you enter a new segment.

If you will take the time to get your thought of expectation started even before you are inside your new segment, you will be able to set the tone of the segment more specifically than if you walk into the segment and begin to observe it as it already is.

It works because we as humans have a frontal lobe/cortex to our brain.   This part of our brain carries out higher mental processes such as thinking, decision making, and planning.  Because of the size of the human frontal lobe, you have the privilege of making thought more real than anything else.

When you close your eyes and block out the other stimuli from your external world, you can create a new image of yourself without distraction just by going within. When you are focused and pay attention, there comes a moment when your brain does not know the difference between what is real in the external world and what you imagine in your mind.  It is a point where you can tell your brain anything and it will believe it.

In fact, the thoughts you are embracing will become just like a real life experience in your mind. The moment this occurs, your brain up-scales its hardware to reflect what you’re imaging and intentionally thinking about. Consequently when you change your mind, you change your brain, and when you change your brain, you change your mind.

The mind is like software in a computer.  Our experiences create pathways and behaviors and responses come through those pathways based on that experience.  What you are doing when you practice creating your day in a new and prosperous way you are creating new neuro-pathways.  The more you practice the stronger they will become.

You might want to create a phrase or use the ones above and start experimenting with creating prosperity in your life the moment you wake up each day.

You can find other information on the web about Segment Intending and Creating your Day.  Ramtha is another one who teaches Creating your day strategies.

Dr.  Joe Dispenza on creating your day

As an experiment try a week of using either of these tools and see what happens.  I would love to hear about your experience!

See you again in Part 8 of this Prosperity Consciousness series.

Prosperity Consciousness: Part 1 of 12

In January of this year instead of setting intentions or writing goals I was given 4 words to work with.  One of those words is Prosperity.  Most of us think of money when we think of prosperity but it is an energy that permeates all of your life and if you just think about it in terms of money and not as an influence in your life, it will impact money.  I say that because in order for prosperity to flow in the money quadrant it must flow in the other ones as well.

I am going to use the next 11 blogs to go into a deeper understanding of prosperity for myself.  You are welcome to come along.

noun: prosperity
  1. the state of being prosperous.
    “a long period of prosperity”
synonyms: success, profitability, affluence, wealth, opulence, luxury, the good life, milk and honey, (good) fortune, ease, plenty, comfort, security, well-being

“she deserves all the prosperity she now enjoys”
:  the condition of being successful or thriving; especially :  economic well-being

By definition prosperity is the condition of being well and of being successful so to me that means in all areas of your life.

“You can open your mind to prosperity when you realize the true definition of the word: You are prosperous to the degree that you are experiencing peace, health and plenty in your world.”  Catherine Ponder

I pride myself in being an open-minded, expansive thinker and focused on abundance so when I read the following quote I was thrown off guard:

“You can’t tell me you have prosperity mindset and then tell me that you don’t have the abundance and wealth you desire in your life.  If you don’t already have what you desire then you have poverty mindset.   Simple” Sandy Foster

Let that sink in for a minute or two….

Poverty Consciousness and Lack Consciousness are one in the same.

I thought about it and decided to be brutally honest and what popped into my mind was this question:  I am in poverty consciousness when I ________?

It might be hard at first to fill in the blank so I will share my list with you.

I am in Poverty Consciousness:

When I am upset about not having a partner

When I think I can’t eat certain foods because of how my body might respond

When I think I am allergic to certain foods

When I think I am anything but beautiful and perfect as I am

When I judge other people or myself

When I am not happy with what I have already accomplished

When I doubt myself

When I compare myself to other people/what other people are accomplishing

When I over eat

When I think I need more

When I feel like people don’t see who I am or don’t appreciate me

When I am in resistance

That is the short list!

If you were to sit down and answer this question: I am in poverty consciousness when________?  what would your list look like.

In 1928 Napoleon Hill coined a phrase that became the central focus around the success of his world-famous book, “Think and grow rich.” The phrase he coined was “prosperity consciousness.”

Nearly 80 years after this new awareness was unleashed on the world, many are still not clear as to the specific meaning of this simple concept.   Simply stated we are either in lack consciousness or we are in prosperity consciousness and it goes way beyond how much money we have.

“Prosperity consciousness is a state of BEing in which my thoughts, words, actions and feelings reflect an attitude of joyful gratitude for all that I have been blessed with, and fearless trust that all my future needs and desires will be given me, simply because I exist.”

Thinking Forward…

Dear Divine Inner Self,  How do I line up with what I desire so it comes into reality?

Dear one,
It is easy, yet hard for humans, because you have to let go of past understanding and experience. Nothing from the past can bring you new reality.  The past served you to learn what you do and don’t want and that information is stored in your psyche, you don’t have to rehash what you have learned. Your soul knows what is best so let that be your guide.

For example:  You can not think about past relationships and create the kind of relationship you now desire.  Act as though you have never had a relationship before in this life, as though you just landed on a new planet and a desire to be connected with a man/woman just popped into your head from out of no where.   From there an imaginative story begins to unfold, like a movie in your mind.  You see the new relationship in this imaginative story just as you would like it to look.

You have to become like a child with no memory of experience.  When you meet someone see it as a new adventure unlike anything that has been before, not letting behaviors or judgments from other relationships slip in to use as comparison.  This is true of romantic relationship as well as non-romantic relationships.  If you find yourself judging, that is based on something from the past and has nothing to do with this new person, unless you let it.  When feelings come up that are triggered by the past let them quickly slip away, because you are creating something that has never been created before with someone you have never created with before.

Children are the best creators because they do this naturally.  They do not start thinking about the past until it is suggested to them that they do so.

This kind of creating can be done with anything; your body, your business, a new relationship, anything.

You start over fresh, as though there is no past, everyday.  This is a new concept for the human brain because the past has always been used as a reference point for creating the future, when in reality life is fresh and new each day.

That is the problem with time and fixed material existence, past experience seems to be real in the present, but it isn’t. It is as real as the future, which is not real either.  This is what you call staying in the present moment.

When you awake in the morning it is a new day that has nothing to do with the past. So create forward, not backward.

What we are saying is not to bring the past into the future with you as you create.  Remember that your life is really soul driven and there is a blue print of your life.  This is not to say that you have no free will because you are your soul so you created the plan.

A big part of creation is imagination.  Imagination is really just connecting with your blueprint and manifestation is bringing that information into your reality.  Everything has already been created in another realm.  Imagination is a tool to manifesting what you believe are only dreams and desires but they are part of your divine plan.  Imagination is higher dimensional memory of what you wanted to create once you arrived in a reality where you forgot your divinity.

The past is just a hollow echo of what you have created to this point, not a blueprint or prediction for the future.   It is a record of what you have created and has nothing to do with what you want to create in the future unless you choose it to be that.

That is why Albert Einstein said:

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”
