Since the end of December, last year I have painted 25 Spirit Animal paintings for people. Everyone including me are surprised at how accurate they are. This is a watercolor of the spirit animal that you soul says you should tap into. I create it through a soul to soul connection with you.
My special, for an 8 x 8 original painting with guidance from your soul is only $55! That’s a crazy great deal. March 1 they go up to $88 so if you want to get in on this deal message me right away.
If I have done yours already, please pass this on. I love referrals.

I want to do this again! I am an official card holder from 2011 when I completed and sent my sketchbook in. It took months to complete. I painted a story from one of my favorite authors of the past, George McDonald, The Back of the North Wind.
I want to go there someday too. My friend M Shannon Hernandez was just there ❤️

BROOKLYN ART LIBRARY
A FREE MUSEUM WHERE YOU CAN TOUCH THE ART
Located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn Art Library is home to over 41,000 sketchbooks from over 130 different countries. Participants of the project order blank sketchbooks, choose a theme, fill them up and connect their books online with search terms, an artist bio and other unique content. Every single sketchbook that is sent back to us is cataloged and placed on our shelves for visitors to view. That means you, as a visitor of Brooklyn Art Library, can search for just about anything you can think of, from the thousands of search terms our participants have logged. One of our librarians will then pull the book down for you and allow you to hold and flip through it.
DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.
Visiting Brooklyn Art Library is a practice in accepting randomness. We encourage you to let the process happen and see what you discover. Oftentimes visitors will be surprised by the most unassuming books, the ones with blank covers and original binding. There are thousands of stories created by people from all over the world.
I was in my own Psyche’s journey
on my way to find love.
There was a lock dangling from my heart,
and I must find the key.
I must open and release the lock
and set my heart free.
But how do I open such a lock
that is read and rusted with age?
I step back a bit and see a door
behind which lives a sage.
What caused that door to close so tight
how did the lock get there?
I will follow all the clues
that stand between myself and grace.
To be continued…
My Art is prophetic, even to me. I can go back to an image I did years ago and if will finally share its meaning with me. This is a poem about following the clues.
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” Steve Jobs
I love this quote. There are so many distractions that keep us from creating the reality we desire. It’s all just noise. Your connection to you Inner being in co-creation with your source is all that matters.
Staying focused and ignoring the distractions is the mastery. Your heart will show you the way.
This is a painting from my archives. The title is Focus
Inside all of us is Hope.
Inside all of us is Fear.
Inside all of us is Adventure.
Inside all of us is… A Wild Thing.
— Maurice Sendak, Where the Wild Things Are
We all have wildness in us, that’s our nature.
Wild does not mean out of control. It means you are in touch with your beautiful, authentic, dancing with abandon, dreaming, magical, creative, life loving self. We each have that within us.
We are attracted to the forest, the mountains, the ocean and the wilderness because it helps us remember who we are.
Are you in touch with your wild nature or have you forgotten?
Here are a few versions of my wild side.
I am doing this series all of February for Heart Month.
From Chapter 36. Kitty Purrs from Resilient Heart
“My cats BJ and Charlie and I are very connected, and they are natural born healers. I got BJ from a client when he was a baby. Charlie came a few years later from the Humane Society. They have always known what to do and where to sit on me when I have been sick. Ever since the first heart attack they have taken turns sitting on my chest purring. I call it purr healing. They are so cute when they crawl up on me and lay down on my chest. They cross their paws over my heart and purr loudly. I didn’t realize there was a reason for this until I read an article about cat purring and your health.
The soothing sounds of a kitty can aid your body in many way. Cats are able to heal because their purrs are a medically therapeutic frequency that fluctuates between 20-140 Hz. Scientists and sound healers have known for many years that vibrations at specific levels or frequencies cause healing changes in the body. Some of the things that cat purrs can do are:
Lower your stress levels
Lower blood pressure
Reduce the risk of heart attack
Heal infections, swelling and muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Imagine how helpful this would be after you have a heart attack…”
“No one told me about Lipoprotein (a). That’s right, I had never heard of it until it became an issue for me. If I would have known sooner, I could have taken steps to do something before I had the first heart attack. Elevated Lipoprotein (a) is a high-risk factor for heart attack and stroke, yet they don’t test for it, talk about it or treat it in the US because there is not a pharmaceutical drug to treat it. It has been a known risk factor in the US since 1997. That is 21 years of neglect as far as I am concerned. To get tested in the US you must find either a Naturopathic Doctor or Functional Medicine Doctor who can send it to an independent lab for testing.”
(From chapter 44 in Resilient Heart. )
This is a ticking time bomb for heart attack and an estimated 63 million people have it and don’t know. I was lucky to have survived 3 heart attacks because I discovered I had this issue on my own and learned how to treat it naturally.
It is tested using a simple blood test that should be standard practice like it is in Europe.
